Student competition “Protection in the event of fires, disasters and emergency situations” 2022

The team of the Second Secondary School “Nikola Yonkov Vaptsarov”, Montana, won first place in the district round in Montana of the XVIII student competition “Protection in the event of fires, disasters and emergency situations” 2022. The representatives of the Fifth Primary School “Hristo Botev”, Montana.

Participants in the competition showed their theoretical knowledge of proper behaviour in fire, disaster and emergency situations.

During the practical games, the contestants showed skills in putting on a gas mask, pressurizing rooms and food products. The students demonstrated speed and proper response for earthquake, flood and fire actions.

The purpose of the competition is to test the students’ knowledge and skills for actions in the event of fires, disasters, accidents and natural disasters, to instill in them a sense of mutual aid and the ability to work in a team in crisis situations.

The team of the Second Secondary School “Nikola Yonkov Vaptsarov”, Montana, will take part in the XVIII National Competition “Protection in the event of fires, disasters and emergencies”, which this year will be held in the city of Veliko Tarnovo, in the period from 27.06.2022 until 29.06.2022.
